Enforcement Training Staff (FTO/PTO/Academy Instructors)
Initially training under our founding business name, Moser Training Solutions, our team brings experience training over 25,000 law enforcement professionals representing more than 400 law enforcement agencies. Our most frequent clients seek to enhance both individual and team performance by focusing on their field trainers, front-line supervisors and their training staff. Why, because they know these employees have with the greatest opportunity to influence “their greatest asset – their people.”

Field Training Officer (FTO) - San Jose Model
Our Basic Field Training Officer (FTO) certification course is designed to introduce participants to the San Jose Field Training and Evaluation Program model while developing their coaching, leadership and instructional skills. Participants themselves will be introduced to engaging, time-proven, and court-tested training practices. As such they quickly realize that our training expands far beyond programmatic aspects, DOR’s and liability. Participants will experience hands-on coaching strategies and will be challenged to apply their eLearning with actual trainees.
Our sworn and civilian students frequently communicate that their employees returned from our training inspired, prepared and eager to apply their newly learned coaching and training tools. We are quite proud of feedback that consistently confirms our learner-centric facilitation approach and how the training experience far exceeded participant’s expectations. Our team will work to ensure FTO’s leave inspired, prepared and eager to train both new and lateral officers.
Police Training Officer (PTO) - Reno Model
Our Police Training Officer (PTO) certification course is designed to introduce participants to the Reno Field Training Program model while developing their coaching, leadership and instructional skills. Students will find we model various levels of Bloom’s Taxonomies of Learning throughout the week. Participants will gain valuable tools to help build the trainees’ Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Learning Domains. This program initiates with foundational program aspects, coaching, and then engages the student to actual trainee integration, pre-briefing and debriefing to completion of a CTR.
Supervisors of our students (both sworn and civilian) comment that their employees returned from our training inspired, prepared and eager to apply their newly learned coaching and training tools.

Of added value, our client agencies consistently report improved employee morale, programmatic improvement, and perhaps most importantly measurable improvements associated the learner’s ability to apply their learning. We are proud of our many accomplishments made through these key staff members, as well and overall improvements to training programs. Each of which was accomplished through highly engaging evidence-based training approaches.
The Best Guidance Possible
I’ve got to say, this has been one of the best if not the best training experiences I’ve ever had. Mr. Moser has a way of capturing attention like no other instructor. I came in expecting to learn about numbers and forms, but I’m leaving with so much more—I feel like I’m a better employee, mentor, mother, and partner now. This class isn’t just about building skills in FTO; it’s about becoming a better version of ourselves for everyone around us. We all have something to offer, and Mr. Moser has truly gifted us with this experience! He says it’s a privilege to teach us, but honestly, we’re the lucky ones for having the chance to learn from him. Thank you, Sir, for creating this incredible model and for your compassion in helping us all improve. Thank you for ensuring that those who risk their lives every day have the best guidance possible. You are truly a gift!
Maggie Mcelderry - CO Dept. of Corrections, Div. of Adult ParolePositive Impact On Our Team
Thank you for allowing our FTOs a seat at the table and the opportunity to obtain their FTO Certification. They had so many positive things to say about their experience—among them, they shared that it was the best training they have ever attended. They are energized and excited to pursue more training opportunities in the future. This training has given them a renewed perspective on their role and its importance to our agency, and I can already see how this will positively impact our team and operations.
Elise Moore - Detention Lieutenant, Court Administration, City of AuroraTop Tier Training
Great training, out of the box learning. It was awesome it was not death by PowerPoint. Retired US Army 1st Sergeant have attended many leadership schools and this by far stands out above them all.
Denver Police DepartmentKnowledgeable & Engaging
The instructor was very knowledgeable, engaging, and professional. He pulled various items from the customer service industry and made them relevant to law enforcement. I would love to take courses from him in the future.
